How much revenue can each option generate in 5 years?
This list shows proposed possible "Funding Options" that could be used to fund the MTA's next Capital Plan. Organized and color-coded based on categories shown in the legend on the right, each shows how much funding could be raised over the five years of the MTA's FY 2020-2024 Capital Program.
Based on historical reference, we anticipate that the MTA will receive $7 billion from the federal government over the five years of the next Capital Program. Therefore, we subtracted $7 billion from the $50 billion, for a goal of $43 billion in unmet needs.
